Does anybody here have any experience using game output functions.

I'm working on a ranking system for baseball and every time I use the
margin of victory, the Boston Red Sox come out on top. The have the
largest margin of victory of any team even controlling for their
strength of schedule. I would rather not use a cap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
