I have not seen or heard any reports of frame failures with any of
the polymer guns.

That data will be hard to find. The people that tend to shoot a lot
of rounds aren't P-95 shooters for the most part.
When I run classes where we shoot 300-500 rounds in a day I just
don't see P95s on the line.
Same for classes I've attended with other schools.
>Also, any stories out there of a P95 being used in a real defensive situation?
In the NRA's armed citizen column listing stories of defensive
shootings they never ID the gun make/model. At most all you get is
caliber and rifle/pistol/shotgun.
Best source for data like that would be reports of officer involved
shootings from police depts - but the big depts like LA and NY don't
break out the data by gun make/model either.
Most of the data from LA and NY will be Glock and 1911 data since
those models are main ones used by those agencies.
If nothing comes up when you Google some combination of the terms
"Ruger P95 self defense shooting" the data probably doesn't exist in
an publicly accessible format.
>Ruger SR9 instead
I've seen some mixed reviews of the SR9. Ruger just recalled a bunch
of them IIRC.
"First model year" guns sometimes have bugs that have to be worked out.
