Specifically what you need is an NRA certified instructor and a
certificate from a class that meets the FL requirements.
NRA First Steps Pistol is 3 hrs and should meet with Florida guidelines.
I'd check with local gun clubs - somebody in that area is bound to be
an NRA certified instructor.
You can always check with NRA but often the Training Dept just has a
long list of instructor names (50K NRA instructors nationwide) and
they don't know which ones are active and which ones are not.
