I think formal education is a good thing. Here in PA, there is no
class required. Nothing more than filling out an application and
getting your pic taken. I didn't even have to pick it up in person. It
was mailed to me, and my references weren't even contacted.
I expected some regulations to be included with the permit - but
nothing at all.
I'm grateful a citizen can carry in PA, but I think there should be
more structure.
