   Diana,

I wish I could, but I'm not going to be able to make it. I've
skated with some of the DC folks in Philly and NYC. They seem
like a great group. Maybe next year will be the year I can do
all of the east coast skates.

Yes Laura it was too wet and cold. Conditions at Hilliard were a little windy
but we got er done.

I thought you and Garth were going to skate up in Mansfield after
breakfast? Was is too wet still?

Bob and Bambo stopped by our house on bikes in the afternoon. I will be
really glad when we are done with the house and can enjoy some of the
fine weather doing something recreational instead of manual labor.

Who will be at Hilliard tonight? I really want to go, but have a meeting

So I may come if it is dry, but be late...

12 miles at Hilliard was enough for me yesterday but when you told me

P.S. the quadriceps started to tigthen up at 32 miles. Ten minutes of
  stretching took care of that.

  Cheers,

Hello all:

I am new to the group so thought I would introduce myself. Karen
Mainor 47 y.o. female who lives in Pickerington. We moved here 8
years ago and my skates have been collecting dust since then. Well,
it's time to get back in shape and I love skating and was happy to
find yur group.

First I would like to ask for some recommendations for buying new
skates. I have done tons of reasearch and understand what I should
be looking for but would like some "real world" advice.

I would like something more along the lines of fitness skates as
opposed to aggressive..oh,yeah I can see me "grindin' a rail" !!!!
haha

Any help ya'll can give me would be appreciated. I would like to
stay in the price range of $150-$200.

I look forward to my first skate with the group. so Can you
recommend where to buy the skates and whih trails I should start on?

Thanks- Karen Mainor
