RE: ColumbusInline- Question on wheel hardness

I left out the detail that higher numbers = harder wheels.

So a 78A ('A' stands for "durometer" - go figure. Anyway it's a measure of
the hardness of the rubber)

78A is on the soft side

90A is on the hard side.

Harder wheels are faster (less rolling resistance) but jar you more on a
rough surface (rough being asphalt, as opposed to

an indoor wood floor).

I use 82A for outdoor (80mm wheels). I'm guessing that if you're using
100mm wheels, you could go a bit harder.

My understanding is that the 90A's should be saved for indoors.

Hey y'all, how is wheel hardness rated? Hard wheels
on pavement right?
