Dear Club Officers,

UVA is now accepting entries for the 3rd Annual ASA University League National
Championships April 14-15, 2007.  This will be a prelim-final meet offering:

• a full slate of events at UVA's state-of-the-art indoor Olympic-size
natatorium swum in
a 10-lane, 25 yard course
• walkouts and award presentations
• medals for individuals and
• team trophies

ASA U. Nationals meet records are now up on the ASA U. website!
(click "NATIONALS" in the sidebar)

Check them out and set your sights on records, which will be announced when
broken at
this year's meet, or come back to defend your own record.

Events include:
25s, 50s, 100s, and 200s of each stroke
100, 200, 400 I.M.
500, 1650 Free
200 and 400 free and medley relays

As always, Nationals will be sanctioned by the American Swimming Association. 
We
appreciate ASA's:

• Support of club swimming with the formation of our collegiate-club league
• Easy-to-host, easy-to-run meet formats
• Sanction (at no cost) of our National Championships
• Sponsorship  of our National Championships
• Promotional, organizational, financial, and administrative support of our
National
Championships
• Low-cost individual memberships
• No-cost team registrations.

Our club is excited about hosting this meet.  We will go all-out to make this
the best ASA
U. Nationals ever and to conduct the meet professionally in every aspect.  We
are excited
that so many more clubs are coming on board this year and the recognition and
promotion ASA has gotten for ASA U. Nationals in the media and other swimming
organizations throughout the U.S.

University Club Swim Team will be holding two meets this
Spring/Winter.  They will be as follows:

Both meets will be setup as usual and will begin with warm-ups at 2pm

Hi everyone,
I know there is a concentration of meets in February including the long
anticipated return of the Mardi Gras invitational, but The University
of Florida is hosting the Third Annual Gator Chomp Invitational on Feb
17th, 2007.  For those of you who have attended in the past, you know
that it is a good time in sunny warm and snow free Florida.  After the
meet we generally have a get together with food and the award ceremony
at UF's park by the lake with many activities as well as a house party
later Saturday night.  Since many of you have the following Monday off
for President's Day you will have plenty of time to get back home.  I
will post the entry sheets and meet info sheet sometime next week. We
hope that y'all can make it

Hi everyone,

The University of Pennsylvania is all set to host our 7th Annual
Spring Invitational meet on Saturday, February 3, 2007. We were really
happy with our turn out last year! We hope to see all of you who came
again this year, and we hope the rest of you will decide to join us!

If you're interested in coming, take a break from studying for finals
to email me (egingold@...). Entries won't be due until
January but facilities would like to have an idea as to how big an
event we are planning.

here is the basic information:

ELLENSBURG, WA - December 12, 2006 - Central Washington University Swim Team
will host
the Second Annual ASA U. Western Regional Championships for collegiate club
swimming
teams on February 10-11, 2007 at the CWU Aquatics Center in Ellensburg,
Washington.

ASA U. Western Regional Championships is the first meet in the 2006-2007 ASA U.
Championship Series for collegiate club swimming teams. 2006-2007 ASA U.
Championship
meets culminate with the Third Annual ASA University League National
Championships in
Charlottesville, Virginia on April 14-15, 2007 at the University of Virginia
Aquatics and
Fitness Center's state-of-the-art natatorium.

Hey Everyone. Due to the concentration of meets later in the spring
semester(nationals, ECCS), the University of Georgia Swim Club is now
considering moving our big spring meet to the month of February or
possibly very early March. If any teams would be interested in
traveling to Athens in February let us know as we are trying to get
the pool booked as soon as possible.

I hope you all will come out to UVA in April for the biggest and best Club
Swimming National
Championships yet!

We are ready to take entries now even though there might be some minor changes

meet info. before next semester starts.  If the meet fills up (max 300
participants), we are
taking entries first-come, first-serve, so get them in as early as possible!

Hey Everyone,

Unfortunately Penn State has been forced to cancel our meet that was
scheduled for Dec 2. Our oh so organized secretary at our Natatorium
double booked us yet again.... There is a Big Ten meet that day as well
and so we will not be able to rent the pool. We also only heard back
from 1 team so far that was planning on attending, probably becasue it
is close to finals week for a lot of schools. So our plan is to host a
large meet in the spring semester. Probably in early February. I am
very sorry for all of the confusion concerning this meet. It has been
very hard to get our school to coorporate with us but things are
looking better. We hope to see you all next semester. I will send out
more info when we are givin an official date. My appologies again.

The University of Delaware is still planning on having their meet on
Dec. 9th. So, come take a break from studying for finals and attend

On Saturday November 18,2006, Northeastern University Swim Club will
be hosting the 2nd Annual Noreaster at Northeastern Invitational at
the Barletta Natatorium in the Cabot Center in Boston, MA.

Open warm-ups begin at 11am and the meet will commence at 1pm.
There is NO meet entry fee and if possible (depending on numbers)
our swimmers are willing to host swimmers at our places to defray
hotel costs.

The Events List (men and women) is as follows:
200 Medley Relay
200 Free
100 IM
50 Free
100 Back
100 Choice Kick
Break
50 Underwater Kick (duck dive)
50 Fly
500 Free
200 Free Relay
100 Breast
100 Free
200 IM
400 Free Relay (2 guys, 2 girls)

Entries are due November 8th.
There will be meet T-shirts sold for $10 each.
There will be a concession stand selling drinks and snacks.

Post-meet: There will a pizza party and awards directly following
meet ($3 per person for pizza and drinks), we will then get cleaned
up and have several hours to show you around Boston and explore,
then around 9 or 10ish we are headed to a nightclub near Fenway Park
(18+ to party 21+ to drink) where we will dance the night away and
get down like swimmers like to do ļ  Sunday morning, if you are
still around, we will be having brunch at a local restaurant and bid
you farewell.

Currently University of Pennsylvania and University of Delaware are
attending and if anyone else is interested please contact us ASAP.

We were thinking of moving back our ECCs Spring meet (Eastern Coastal
Championships) this year to late February instead of early April, so it
wouldn't be as close to the national meet as last year.  I just wanted to
