Dear College Club Teams,

 

I sent you all an invitation to come to Furman's First Invitation Swim Meet ("FU in the Pool") on March 18, 2006. We are very excited about being able to finally host a meet. In order to host the meet, we have had to rent a pool in the Greenville area for the Saturday of the meet (Furman's pool is too shallow to dive into and therefore unuseable). Because we have to pay to use the pool, we need committments from other club teams to come to the meet by NO LATER THAN this WEDNESDAY, February 22, 2006. If we do not get enough response, then we will have to reconsider and possibly cancel the meet, which would be disappointing for all of us here at Furman.

 

Anyway, if you could PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE e-mail me back if your team is planning (or even considering) coming to our meet (by Feb. 22). I have re-attached the meet info sheet just in case you need it. Please e-mail me your committments to BOTH jimmy.hoke@... AND furmanswimming@....

 

All we need right now is to know if you are planning on coming, we do not need to know how many swimmers/what events until March.
