ATLANTA, GA - February 10, 2006 - The Adult Swimming Association University
League is
pleased to announce the admission of three collegiate swim clubs to the league:
Georgia
Tech Swim Club, Western Washington University Swimming, and University of Oregon
Swimming.

Georgia Tech Swim Club is the host of one of the largest club swimming meets in
the
country, the East Coast Championships. To support ASA U.'s membership drive and
encourage attendance at this year's ASA U. National Championships at Ohio State,
Georgia
Tech will waive entry fees for ASA U. Member-Teams attending ECC's this year.
This
benefit for ASA U. members is an intermediate step toward making ECC's an ASA U.
sanctioned meet next year. ASA U. will announce the host of this year's ASA U.
Eastern
Regional Championships in the coming weeks. ECC's will take place March 31
through
April 02, 2006 at the Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center in Atlanta.

Western Washington will join Central Washington University to compete in the
first annual
ASA U. Western Regional Championships on Saturday, February 11th. ASA U. Western
Regional Championships is the first meet in the 2005-2006 ASA U. Championship
Series
for collegiate club swimming teams . 2005-2006 ASA U. Championship meets
culminate
with the 2nd Annual ASA U. National Championships, April 22-23, 2006 hosted by
Buckeye Masters Swim Club at Ohio State University. No entry fees will be
charged for
2005-2006 ASA U. Championship series meets. Participation in these meets is a
benefit of
2005-2006 ASA U. membership.

The American Swimming Association University League is an association of
student-run
swim clubs from colleges and universities across the United States. ASA U. was
founded in
response to the elimination of so many college and university swimming teams
across the
country. ASA U. is a community of teams which enjoy the sport of swimming in a
friendly,
competitive environment. For more information and to join, please visit the
