Hello everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself and my team. My
name is Mark Salzillo and I am the President for the Northeastern
University Men's Swimming Club, located in Boston, Massachusetts.
My friend Erin Selke is the President for the Women's squad, but we
are basically one team in the same. We do all team related things
as a co-ed group. Anyhow, I encourage you to look at our website
(www.nuswimmingclub.neu.edu) and learn a little bit about us.

We are a new team and have yet to compete in a dual meet or
invitational. This is mostly due to the lack of teams that we are
aware of in New England, or the Northeast region for that matter. I
was extremely excited to see teams part of this group from OH, PA,
and MD - still a long drive, but something we will look into. So,
if anyone knows of any Collegiate Club teams in our area, please let
me know, I would really appreciate it.

One meet we do have on our radar is the ASAU National Championship
meet in Houston, TX on April 2. We have known about this for a
while and decided it was a great opportunity for National
competition. Our school is very supportive of us making the long
trip to be able to compete in a championship meet. I am really
excited about the possibilities ASAU is providing for us and am a
huge supporter of their organization. I encourage all of you to try
and make it to this meet to make it the biggest and best meet
possible.

I am very enthusiastic about the direction our sport is going and
think that if we all work together and put our passions to good use
we will be able to grow.

I look forward to working with all of you to build the collegiate
club swimming community and hopefully seeing you at a competition!
