Please let your swimmers know that the A.S.A. Open Water Swimming Collegiate
National
Championships is now a reality. You can find online entry capability, entry
information
and entry forms at www.AmericanSwimmingAssociation.com. This first-ever Open
Water
Swimming Collegiate National Championship race is set for Saturday, November 3,
2007
Lake Travis, Austin, TX.

We believe that this event will be a big plus for distance swimming and will
boost open
water swimming, now an Olympic event. Hopefully, you will help to promote open
water
swimming in the U.S. and be a part of the inaugural championship.

The Dam 5k will precede the Collegiate Champs in the same course and will afford
coaches the opportunity to race in a masters division.

October
13, 2007 Lake Travis Relay (a superlative team building event) and The Highland
Lakes
Challenge (the first-ever swimming stage event), may be accessed at
