I ran the 3000M Classic last night on the track.  It was the first time I ran a
track race.

I finished in 13:26, which is faster than I thought I would run, so I am very
happy with the result.

Race was not as fast as I hoped.

I thought was probably going to run between 32-34, but I hoped I could be down
close to 32.

Does not bode well for the Peachtree.  I was hoping to get down to 50 minutes
when I started my training, but probably not now.

raced on a track.  I am not fast and expect to get lapped (probably more than
once!).  When I do, am I supposed to move over for the faster runner or maintain

I ran a 5K race this morning.  I was hoping to be in the 24:00 minute range.  My
last 5K was in February, before I started my 10K training.  I rant that race in
25:19.

My time today was 24:11 on my watch, but I think my chip time will be a few
seconds faster.

Mile 1: 7:30.4
Mile 2: 7:37.0
Mile 3: 8:24.6 (a lot of uphill)
