I have been wearing the Ascics 2000 series shoes pretty much since I started
running and I have never had a problem. I started wearing the new 2140s several
months ago and sometimes I feel like the inside of the front of my right foot is
rolling off of the platform of the shoe. It gets worse the longer I run.

I got a new pair of 2140s last week. While at the store, I tried on a pair of
the wide width shoes. The forefoot felt great, but it felt really loose in the
heel. I did not want to buy them and have them not work out and waste the
money, so I went with the regular width.

Coach told me my shoes are too loose. I tightened the laces, which seems to
have helped some what, although they are not as comfortable for the rest of my
foot now. But after trying on the wide width shoes, I am wondering if the new
version of the 2140s are more narrow than prior versions.

Hmmmm.
