Clippers fans without cable may be out of luck this season.

The team's three national TV games are slated for Turner, and its local rights package so far includes only Fox Sports Net and Fox Sports Net 2.  The five-year contract between the Clippers and KCAL/Channel 9 expired after last season, and the sides hit an impasse. KCAL senior vice president Pat McClenahan said finances were a sticking point, but also KCAL wanted a multiyear deal while the Clippers were seeking one year, perhaps to consolidate all their rights negotiations when its Fox deal expires after this season.  "It's too bad they are not on broadcast (TV) because they are doing so much," McClenahan said of the Clippers' rising outlook. "To have something positive happening and not be available to the entire market is disappointing."  KCAL still has the Lakers (for the 25th season), as well as the Angels and Ducks.
