Ravens Sign 16 Rookie Free Agents

In addition to the seven players drafted last weekend, the Ravens
signed 16 more rookies as undrafted free agents Friday. All of the
young prospects arrived at team headquarters for a two-day rookie
camp and their first taste of life in the NFL.

The 16 recently-inked Ravens include five offensive, eight defensive
and three special teams players.

For a closer look at the rookie free agents, here is a thumbnail
sketch on each one:

Greg Pruitt, Jr., RB, North Carolina Central (5-9, 210)
In just 3 seasons at North Carolina Central University, he became
the school's all-time leading rusher with 3,008 career yards. . .He
is the only player in NCCU annals to break the 3,000-yard career-
rushing barrier and the only player to rush for more than 1,000
yards in a season twice (2004 and 2005). . . As a senior in 2006, he
rushed for 733 yards on 145 attempts (5.1 avg.), scoring six
touchdowns in 12 games.
