SAN DIEGO--The ankle injury Browns starting cornerback Leigh Bodden
suffered on the opening drive of Sunday's game vs. the Chargers was
not to the same ankle that caused him to miss two games earlier this
season and had him listed on the team's injury report as recently as
this week.
He did not return after the game's first drive. Bodden said after the
game that x-rays were taken on the ankle but they were negative.
The injury occured when Chargers receiver Eric Parker was tackled and
rolled onto the ankle of the cornerback.
Bodden was in his second game back after missing games in Week 6 and
7 at Carolina and vs. Denver, respectively.
"We're having some bad luck right now," Bodden said.
