ClevelandBrowns.com staff writers award their game balls for
performances in the Browns' 32-23 loss to the Chargers.
Steve King gives his game ball to ... Browns WR Joe Jurivicius
Jurevicius recorded his longest reception of the season - which came
in the form of a key 51-yard reception in the first half. More
importantly, he showed the strength, cleverness and know how
throughout the entire game that the Browns knew they'd get when they
signed the veteran reciever in the offseason.
Zac Jackson gives his game ball to ... Browns TE Kellen Winslow
No one Browns player was more under a microscope on Sunday in San
Diego than Winslow - and he came up big. Not only did he single-
handedly keep drives going, but he also registered a career high 11
receptions in a loss to the Chargers.
Jeff Walcoff gives his game ball to ... Browns QB Charlie Frye
He was pressured, hurried and hit all day long, and even took a cheap
shot that might have put a QB with a lesser heart out of the game.
But Frye hung in there throughout the contest and once again proved
why there is no one on the Browns tougher than he.
