"The young wide receiver from Michigan has been
working with the team in spring drills, but now
must turn his attention to signing a deal. He
can’t take part in training camp — the first
full-squad workout begins July 29 — until he
does.

Edwards said his agent, LaMont Smith, has had
cordial talks with Browns President John Collins
and contract expert Trip MacCracken."
