Obviously our cap situation is in much worse shape than we thought
it was. The Browns have been guilty of over-paying for mediocre free
agents and I think this is Butchs way of really beginning to mold
this team in his image. I knew most of them would be gone, but
Holmes was our leading tackler last season. Granted it was on a
pretty lousy defense, but what the hell!!?
I have to believe that Butch and Carmen and all the rest have a
plan up their sleeves and these moves weren't ALL due to salary caps
problems. I do have to admit I'm not looking forward to next season
as I was a few weeks ago!
