Hey guys! Just wanted to share with you my love for the Circa series
putters!! I recently invested in COA A008583. It's a Japan Spec
Circa III 34"/350g in Pro Platinum w/ a Yin Yang stamp on the toe
face, a Custom Shop stamp on the toe, and dual sightlines cut in the
back. It has white and orange paintfill, orange shaftband, and had a
orange Custom Shop grip before I had to remove it to use my favorite
grip, the baby T. All in all, this thing is sweet! And to top it all
off, I got a Yin Yang cover with it! Perfect theme putter, IMHO
(haha...Jeff...)!
I found out I loved Circa's when Jeff let me putt with the one he
has in Pro Platinum. I love the soft/firmness of that finish, if you
know what I mean. I knew I loved 350g putters when I had my Studio
Stainless Newport 2 33/350 that I used to have. I then discovered
that I putt so much better with a putter w/ a high toe.
Now, my putting has been fickle to say the least. I loved my SS, but
it just wasn't all there for me. I then went to the IBBF, but again,
not the right feel. Then, stupidly, I went to the Ping My Day while
I searched for "the one." Jeff then let me putt with his a few times
on the putting green, and I fell in love. All it needed was 20 more
grams to be perfect. I then set out for one just like this one! The
stamps, cover, and COA were just icing on the cake!! I love it!!
With a small change to my putting stroke, I can 100% tell you, this
is THE ONE!!

With that many fairways, you don't have much to work on except those
irons and I know you will do that just fine. I say stick w/ the Circa
6, or give the 009 more time. Really, if it were me, you know what I
would do. Get rid of the 009 to that guy who can get you the irons you
want and pocket some cash. The VI has proven itself time and time
again. Go for it and stay that way!
Mike
Very solid start to the season, Jeffrey. Any luck with your search for
a Tour Circa VI?
Anyway, thanks for the update. Be sure to keep us posted with more
updates as you have them.
Ryan :)

Well I just finished my Count Am and figured I could use this as a
good place to start posting my progress. My final score was 220 for
three days, 72-74-74, T-9th. Conditions were perfect all weekend, too
bad I couldn't say that for my game. All in all I was pretty pleased
with my rounds, I hit 37/42 fairways so that's something I can build
on. Iron play and putting was below average, I had a 009 in the bag
but the Circa VI will be in the bag for the rest of the summer. I'm
also looking for some new irons.
Also, one of the guys on the team, BJ Humphries, played in the County
Am. He started strong with a great round of 69, but followed that up
with rounds of 74 and 79.

Ryan,
I heard through the grapevine we might see a tour version in the
next few months.
Jeffrey,
Don't think we will see a production model until 2008. Your first
chance to grab it will be as the Holiday putter this year.
Ryan :)

I'd first off like to thank Ryan for this oppurtunity. I am
extremely honored and excited about this. This will be my first full
season and USC-Upstate. I transferred into Upstate from North
Greenville Univeristy and walked on. Upstate has alot of talent and
promise, and I am excited to see how we transition from DII- DI. I
am really looking foward to updating my page and photo album as much
as possible.
I started collecting Camerons about 2 years ago, but I've been
playing Camerons for about 7 years. I have had around 35 putters in
the last year alone. I currently own a Circa III, Circa VI, and 009.
I am thinking about trading my 009 for a Circa VI tour. I will post
pictures of my bag as soon as I can.
Once again, I'd like to thank Ryan for this oppurtunity and I am
looking foward to hopefully posting many pictures of Circa 62's in
action!
Thanks,
Jeff
We're going to ty something new that I think everyone is going to
really like.
Starting this fall, Jeffrey Horton who plays golf for USC Upstate, is
going to be giving us team updates. Jeffrey, who's a big Cameron
fan, will be sending us photos from tournaments, practice and of
course Circa photos. It'll be cool to see what collegiate players
are using Scotty's who's using a Circa.
The Spartans were DII National Runners Up last year and look to be
prepared for another strong season behind head coach Todd Lawton.
The team also made the jump from DII to DI. Also, four USC Upstate
men's golfers (Michael Lawrence, Josh Gallman, Brandon Bradosky, and
Jamie Lightsey)qualified for the 76th Annual South Carolina Golf
Association (SCGA) Amateur Championship.
I'm really excited about this, and think it will be a really
exciting new feature for the page. I've added the teams link, and
started a photo section for Jeffrey to post his photos.
Thanks Jeffrey, and best of luck to you and the rest of the Spartans!
Ryan :)
From Mike (noodle3872) from TCC, we now know the following regardinf
this years My Girl and Holiday putters:
"Scotty told Nikki and I at the Convention that this year's My Girl
will be a Circa '62 VI in 33"/350G. He would not reveal the finish to
be used but promised it will be specatular!
The Holiday putter is going to be the Circa '62 VII which is a
Circa '62 VI head with a flow neck. Scotty drew up a picture for Nikki
and I on the table cloth.
Mike"
Very interesting, I'm sure we'll all be keeping a close eye out for
these two gems! Thanks Mike.
Almost forgot, I've posted a picture of the drawing Scotty made for
Mike & Nikki at the convention in the photos section.
Ryan :)
It has been confirmed by Mr. Cameron himself at the 2007 International
Cameron Convention that the Circa No. VII will be a No. VI model with a
flowing neck, not a plumbers neck.
Ryan :)
Forgot to mention, putter photos are courtesy of Greg (gdm43) from TCC.

Just added in the photo section, fresh pics of AO's Circa VI GSS. Very
cool, be sure to take a look. Feel free to add your own pictures if
you have any to share.
Ryan :)
The stand bag is cool, really cool. Did you get one, Winte? I'm
starting to think the best looking Circa, is one that gets tucked into
a nice stand bag or tour bag!

Love the pics of Camilo just got my Sales Sample Circa 62 #3 i also
checked out the cobratourblog and it is just like you said it is
great. Just want to see what every body thinks of the Scotty Cameron
Stand Bag.
Matt
Just added a few pics of "Spiderman" in the PGA photo section. The
photos are from cobratourblog.com. This is a fantastic website with
great tour information and even better photos.
Ryan :)
Been kind of quit around here lately. Most people are spending their
free time on the course, not on the "net". I know there are a few new
pickups out there, lets see what you've got. I know Scott just picked
up a Tour Proto Circa made for Jason Dufner. Lets see some new photos!
Ryan :)
As of today, Adam's still using his Newport Mid-Slant. However, he is
using the new 2007 red Circa cover.
I'm getting greedy here, but I'd love to see Adam switch to a Circa, or
see Scotty design a mid-slant Circa for him to use. Like I said, I'm
being greedy here.
Ryan :)

Matt, I thought of one more: classiccamerons.com. Submit a request

FYI.
Forced to putt them all up for sale. If anyone is interested, shoot me
an e-mail.
Everything is fine, just need some quick cash for my wedding. I'm sure
I'll be buying them all back in a month. Maybe I can upgrade to my
first Tour putter, or even a 34/350.
Ryan :)
