The Importance of Voting...

To the people of America:
Hello and thank you for having an interest in reading this. It is our
right as Americans to have a responsibility to know the truth and to
find out about our elected officials and to check up on them. It is
also our responsibility and our right as Americans to vote. Election
day is Tuesday, November 2nd and it is is a very important day to
make sure everyone votes. Our future is at stake. That is exactly
what you'll read about. Today we are living in a country where it
just wasn't like it used to. We are living in a time where we are
seeing first hand that our families are working hard 2 to 3 jobs just
to pay the bills and barely have enough money to go out for a movie
or go out for dinner. We are seeing job's being lost because they are
being sent to other countries or the owners from the businesses are
shutting down because of our poor economy. More and more families
each day claim bankruptcy. We are seeing our children suffering,
worried, striving to their full potential just to pass those exams
that puts the pressure to both the students and the teachers. Our
teachers who work hard are getting paid very little just enough to
pay their bills. American workers telling their children they can't
afford that new bike for their birthday or that happy meal. We are
shutting down firehouses in the U.S. while creating new one's in
other countries. Americans come first! We are seeing our soldiers
dying each day just because of a war that is all about oil & self-
profit & interest. In the last three years we have seen more
Americans slip into poverty and the divide between those who have and
those who don't grows wider & wider each day. The deficit will be the
largest in history and will exceed $400 billion every year for the
next ten years. Our president mislead and rushed us into war saying
they were weapons of mass destruction when there never really was.
Our president went and bombed the wrong country. It is wrong when you
put more solders in Iraq then in Afghanistan when the real terror is
in Afghanistan. Sure Saddam was evil to his country, but he never did
anything wrong to the U.S. Where's Osama? We could've done something
better. He lost the focus on the real terror. Mr. President how could
you have a mission accomplished sign behind you when that mission
never really was accomplished. Now Bush made more enemy's with the
world and now most of the world hates us and now we will see more
immolation if Bush stays in office that is already happening. Their
campaign are playing you in fear, to make sure you vote for them,
which is wrong voting for fear. We are also seeing misleading
information about Bush to the other Presidential candidate. This
shows just how desperate the Bush-Cheney campaign is because they
can't talk about the real issues and all you hear is negative from
them. Still today we are seeing many innocent lives dying in Iraq and
with the war. What are we doing there? we captured Saddam, decrease
the war out there and make sure you avoid killing innocent people.
How would you like it if they came and bomb your home. Enough is
enough! There's been proof that both candidates, Bush and Kerry seem
to change positions. well Look, if The Bush campaign is attacking
Kerry for his changing in positions then he should stop and apologize
to Kerry because he is just as guilty as Kerry, which makes Bush look
even more ignorant than Kerry. John never accused George of flip-
flopping. It works both ways. You know Mr. Bush, look and see what
you are & do before you accuse someone of doing that same thing. Know
before you talk. Don't bite your tongue Mr. President! Just a few
weeks ago our Vice-President said that our economic indicators
measure the nation's unemployment rate, consumer spending and other
economic milestones but that they miss the hundreds of thousands who
make money selling on eBay. Ok yeah, Did we forget to mention the
bake sales and lemonade stands too. You know when our Vice-President
says that our economy is getting better because of ebay, then there's
something wrong here. Is this really how their administration see's
it? no wonder! On October 26, 2001, President Bush signed the USA
PATRIOT Act (Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing
Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism). On
the surface, the Act appears to help the government battle terrorism,
yet the Act actually attacks and criminalizes our basic rights to
disagree with policies set by the government. The Act is unpatriotic
in that it opposes our country's founding principles as listed in the
Bill of Rights. The so-called PATRIOT Act came into being as the U.S.
launched a controversial war in the wake of 9/11 and is being used to
inhibit dissent at the very time when citizens and non-citizens alike
need the freedom to express themselves and protest government actions
such as the War in Iraq. The USA PATRIOT Act compromises our first,
forth, fifth, and sixth amendment. this is just one reason on why
Bush is wrong for America! The oil based company Halliburton is using
tax payer money & the war for their feed. And guess what? you know
who their former CEO of that company was. Yes, Mr. Dick Cheney. In
other words Dick Cheney is watching out for Halliburton, and
Halliburton is watching out for Dick Cheney. Bush having an Enron
connection. The biggest lifetime contributor to his campaign, who is
also one of his best friends, presided over one of the largest
corporate bankruptcy frauds in world history (Kenneth Lay, former CEO
of Enron Corporation). Another reason why George & Dick are wrong for
America! Under George Bush the Administration they have supported tax
breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas. Family income has
declined by $1,500 a year. Jobs are shifting to industries that pay
$9,160 less than jobs in contracting industries and are less likely
to provide health insurance. Health insurance premiums have gone up
by 50 percent. Bush failed to provide the resources necessary for
schools to meet the new requirements of The No Child Left Behind Act.
As a result, schools are being punished, but not supported. George
Bush has not adequately funded the development of sound tests and has
failed to address schools' reliance on the fill-in-the-bubble
exercises that undercut true learning and this is not a false claim
because both teachers and students are seeing this first hand, and
because of this schools are teaching only to the those exams and
leaving out a valuable education, it is wrong when schools teach only
to the test. He has rushed us to war in Iraq without a plan to win
the peace, a decision that has cost Americans 90% of both the
casualties and the cost. The Bush administration shortchanged our
troops on body armor and benefits but rewarded Cheney's former
company, Halliburton, with a contract worth billions for the
reconstruction of Iraq. Some Families of soldiers have even paid and
done fund raisers to pay for their soldiers body armor. It's no
wonder why this administration has kept everything under wraps, they
never disclose any information about anything. Any records or minutes
from meetings Bush or Cheney attended regarding public energy policy
are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public review. All records
of George's tenure as governor of Texas have been spirited away to
his fathers library, sealed in secrecy and unavailable for public
view. All records of any SEC investigations into his insider trading
or bankrupt companies are sealed in secrecy and unavailable for
public view. All minutes of meetings of any public corporation for
which he served on the board are sealed in secrecy and unavailable
for public view. Bush is first US president to establish a secret
shadow government, and record for the fewest press conferences of any
president, since the advent of TV. What is the secrecy? In his first
year in office George set the all-time record for most days on
vacation by any president in US history. For four days in New York,
instead of talking about real plans for creating jobs, strengthening
the economy, expanding health care, and bringing down gas prices, we
heard almost nothing but anger and insults from the Republicans. And
I'll tell you why. It's because they can't talk about the real issues
facing Americans. They can't talk about their record because it's a
record of failure. This November 2nd we can all change this. just
imagine what four more years of this administration will do to
America. Four more years of what? corruption, lies, immolation,
wrongful war, pollution, no separation from religion. Ladies and
gentlemen people of America we can bring back the best of the USA.
This November we have a choice. A choice to have the same
administration that will keep messing up middle-class America or we
can stand up and take action and have an administration who will work
hard and never lie of what is really going on. It is not liberal,
conservative or partisan to say that America has a better way of
doing something. it is not liberal or conservative to talk about what
is really going on. it is not liberal or conservative to care for
your fellow Americans. It is American to do this things Ladies and
gentlemen i am not lying to you, i am not brainwashing you i am just
telling you what is happening around us and what we are experiencing.
I will tell you once again America, DON'T BE FOOLED BY BUSH! don't
let lies brainwash you, don't let ignorance take over. People of the
great America it can be better, it can be stronger, if you are losing
your job. Help is on the way! if you are suffering because you don't
have money to pay for your medications or pay the doctor, or pay
those high gas prices at the pump, help is on the way! let's tell
Bush that health care shouldn't be a privilege but should be given to
our hard-working Americans. For four years, George Bush has
stubbornly misled America and taken us in the wrong direction.
America can do better than what we have, vote for the right choice
this November, and remember! don't let lies and ignorance re-elect
our president.
