That really is the question. Can the solid pitching that they have
been getting hold up? I don't know. I know there are some arms in
the minor league that they are high on. Maybe the Reds can finally
start to turn the corner. They certainly have the offensive
capability this year to compete. It's been a lack of pitching that
has been their doom the past few years. Besides pitching they are
doing the little things that seemed impossible to do last year such
as the pitcher laying down a bunt or better team defense. But
clearly the Reds will be as succesful as their pitching can take
them.
