Hello,
I am new here. I have been a fan since 1975. That's
right, my dad introduced me to the game. He just loved
watching it and had no particular favorite. I could
not help from becoming a follower of the awesome red
machine that was rolling over teams in those years.
Today, after all the lean times, I am still that
follower. My first beef to claim here to the group, is
why are the Reds continuing to put faith in Jimmy
haynes? He is terrible. I would love to be able use a
more elaborate term, but terrible is the only word
that just says it. Even when he pitches well, we lose.
He's just plain bad luck.
Also, Ken Griffey Jr. What a great story this would
have been, but my goodness, the Reds can't win at all
with him in the lineup. It's the strangest thing I
have ever seen. He goes out and plays well,
defensively, he is almost as good as ever, but it's
just not meant to be. I don't know what the answer is.
Frustrated as always...Robert.
