Re: [CincinnatiReds] One of the Greatest Quotes Ever...

I wonder if Juan Castro said the same thing last night?? Boy, what a game!!!! Don't cry George!!! I'm sure we'll hear some kind of excuse of why they lost from Ol' George, just like Bobby Cox done when they came to Cincy a few weeks ago.

From the 1976 World Series Game two:

Game Two was more dramatic.

The Reds took a 3-0 lead in the second inning off Catfish Hunter, but
the Yankees tied it up. In the ninth, Hunter retired the first two
batters, but shortstop Fred Stanley's throwing error allowed Ken
Griffey to reach second base. When the Yankees intentionally walked
Morgan, Perez turned to Bench and said: "Tell the batboy to pick up
the bats. This game is over. "

For Doggy to say that and then deliver... It has to be classic!!

"Is This Heaven"?   "No"..."It's Cinergy Field"!
