wings..... ~ That was kinda icky sweet...Hey but it's Christmas... ~ From The
isle Seat...."ELF".....It has some silly parts..But it makes you laugh and is a
good holiday movie to see....3 Baseballs out of 4.....~ So I watched the end of
"Titanic" again last night...The boat still sinks...And of course "Rose" still
lets go....Poor "Jack" becomes the All You Can Eat Fish buffet.... ~ Congrats to
our Assoc editor and my protege MARC TECHMAN on the Miami Dolphins beating
Buffalo....Even though I lived in New York for 5 years...I really hate the
Buffalo Bills...Can you say Choke.... ~ From The Front Office...I was thinking
today about athiest....We may have some on this list and that's ok...But I
thought how sad...To go through life with nothing to look
forward too after this life...To miss small miracles everyday and call thm a
coincident...To not celebrate in the mystery of faith...To not know the love of
God...To simply exist and not believe in anything spiritual....While of course
they have freedom from religion in this great Country...I still say HOW
SAD...And that's my Opine..... ~ The Way We Were....While in Auburn we played in
Falcon Park - The oldest minor league ballpark in America.....We had a storm one
summer day and our roof top press box fell to the pitchers mound...So the city
built us a make shift wooden hut until a new press box could arrive....It was a
shack...But our new shiny pre built all steel press box arrived....Great until
we had thunderstorms..It was like standing under a tree with a lightning rod and
saying "Strike me"...But old Falcon Park is now just a memory - But Marc and I
still hold the all-time attendance record at "Historic Falcon Park"....Marc how
in the world did we pack 55,000 people in that
old place....From "Big League Dreams"....Today's Christmas Tip...Buy a dated
Christmas ornament every year and start a tradition that will last for
generations.... ~ TERROR ALERT IS ORANGE -High ~....Pull The Tarps....Friends
make Christmas Special....That's the Monday "Field"...Remember Be Alert...Be
Aware...Be Safe...Be Americans and enjoy this special time...."Natale hilare"
