The White Sox took two out of three games from the Indians to kick
off the week behind 11 runs in the opener and a strong pitching
performance from starter Mark Buehrle in the finale. Chicago then won
the opening game of their weekend series against Boston thanks to a
quality effort from starter Javier Vazquez and a 3-for-4, three RBI
performance from catcher A.J. Pierzynski.
