Hi All!
Dare we hope for SUN this weekend? It was great today! Weather permitting, it
would be great to put on some miles before the Wildflower!
Saturday’s ride (8am start): Up Cohasset, to the
dirt!? And back via Keefer and Hicks, Bell
or River – 35 – 60 miles, terrain 4, pace D
Sunday’s ride: (9am start): Out Durham-Pentz to
Wheelock, CoalCanyon and back via Clark or other –
35 or more miles, terrain 2, pace C
See you out there!
Janine

I'd like to do the ride and could use the company to push me a
little. I'm never sure if anyone is a "for sure" at 8AM.
It also may be raining and I might wait it out. How's that for committing
to be noncommittal?

The total for all 3 climbs was 6850ft. I did not think to look at the top of each hill. I think from past rides I kinda remember that cohasset and forest ranch are both about 2000ft each. Not sure about honey run.

Janine,
I didn't see a route description for the Italian Triple at
chicovelo.org. Can you give the details. I'm guessing it is up
Cohasset to where the road narrows(?), then back down and over to
and up Honey Run to Skyway, then back down Honey Run(?), then up 32
to Forest Ranch, and finally back to Chico. If the first leg is out
Cohasset, I will probably join the group at Eaton and Cohasset since
I live at that end of town. I don't have a preference on the start
time.

Sorry this late. Is it possible we’ll have some sun this weekend??? Let’s hope! Easy ride on Saturday, in preparation for the Italian Triple (unsupported century, see www.chicovelo.org for info) on Sunday! I was thinking to start at 7:30 or 8am on Sunday, anyone have a preference?
Saturday’s ride: Cohasset, Keefer, River – 30 miles, pace C, Terrain 1
Sunday’s ride: Italian triple: Cohasset, Honey Run and Forest Ranch (Hwy 32) – about 100 miles, lots of climbing!
See you out
there! Janine

Hi All -
Zahnd Industries has been working on an innovative online product
called Distance Logger, and we will begin beta testing in late Spring.
Distance Logger helps you:
+ Set goals and stay on top of them
+ Log your workouts in as much detail as you like
+ Track your progress
+ Find and meet real people doing the sports you do
+ See the ways that other people are making progress and succeeding
If you would like to help us take Distance Logger for a test spin
before we launch it this summer, go to http://www.distancelogger.com
and sign up.
We'd love to have you on the team!
Cheers,
Gino & Team Distance Logger

I’m thinking I need more slow,
sustained climbing rather than a 3 or so mile all-out effort – so I’m
not planning to do the TT. I’ll be at One Mile at 9am for some other hill
(weather permitting!).

Janine,
Can't make Sunday but willing to meet for a ride Saturday
afternoon and climb a hill. Say 1 PM at one mile if the weather
cooperates? Anyone? Jeff
Wonder what the weather will be like THIS weekend!? I
won’t be here on Saturday, but will be looking for some hills to climb on
Sunday! Departing One-Mile at 9am on Sunday, maybe do Cohasset and River Rd?
See you out there!
