While doing the Tour de Lincoln Saturday I heard about a very cool
century I didn't know about: the Tour of the Napa Valley. If you
google it you'll see why it's sweet. I avoid the Wine Snob One
Hundred mentality of the Napa/Sonoma centuries like the plague, but
this one isn't through the wine country, it's through the very nice,
lightly traveled, rolling hill roads north of the valley, south of
Berryessa (the Pope Valley area). And you get homemade cookies. I
thought I'd pass it on, though I can't do it myself because I'll be
riding the Mountain Bike Oregon weekend. The website thoughtfully
gives exact ride routes (always love a century that does that). Jay
