Overall, in the winter, I usually stick to Terrain 1 when it's cold
(below 55) and/or wet. If it warms up and dries out, I'll hit the
hills for some rides. Before I go out, I look on weather.com to see
which way the wind is blowing, and I try to ride into the wind on the
way out. Northerly wind means Meridian; Southerly wind means Aguas
Frias or Midway. I usually don't see east/west wind, but south-
easterly wind means Durham-Dayton and Durham-Pentz. Any other
east/west wind means suffering the whole time.
Anyone who'd like to join me, let me know and I'll make it a point
to be at One Mile at exactly 7:00 and leave at exactly 7:01, until
the sun starts to come up earlier. Sometimes my schedule fluctuates,
especially on Thu-Sat, so if I'm not there at 7:00, assume that I
had to reschedule my ride, and just leave without me.
Rob
