I'm interested in riding with some of you folks, but I'm still a bit
of a newbie. On the Chico Velo calendar it reads:

<blockquote>
Saturday 5/20
Mellow Group
Paradise, up Pentz-Magalia, down Clark 50 miles Pace D Terr 3

Sunday 5/21
Redding Ride
Meet at One Mile at 8 AM to carpool to Redding, or 9:30 at Turtle Bay
at Sundial Bridge. We'll ride a 45 mile loop out to Igo with an option
to add ten miles by going five miles out and back to Ono.
</blockquote>

I am interested in cycling outside of Chico, but was wondering if
someone could give me a quick synopsis (w/Pace and Terrain rating,
and/or a hyperlink please) of what to expect for the Redding Ride?
Oh, and I don't own a car so if I went, I'd have to carpool with
someone. Is anyone else going?

Thank you,
Amber

Hi Amber! The Sundial Bridge ride is great - not too hard but not a piece of cake either. No BIG climbs but a lot of pretty challenging rolling terrain (not ...
