1. Survey #1 – Should we move the Saturday start time to 8:00 AM?

I have a few responses for our start time survey. Votes are flying
in both directions. If you have a preference, please vote. Should
we move the start time for the Saturday run to 8 AM? Let me know
what you think of this idea. If there is enough support, we will
make the change.


2. SOCIAL #1 – Take Me Out at Actors Theatre on Saturday 10/2

Take Me Out is playing at the Actors Theatre. A group of us are
going to the 8:00 pm show. Tickets are $22. The tickets are
general admission so you can buy your ticket individually and still
sit with the group. Just let me know if you are going so we can
save the right number of seats. We will probably plan dinner
beforehand. Go to

On September 15 Actor's Theatre will be one of the first theaters in
the Southeast to produce this Tony Award Winning Best Play of 2003.
Also a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama for 2003, Richard
Greenburg's Take Me Out is a brilliant ode to baseball and the story
of an enormously popular player, who at the height of his game,
sends a tremor through America's pastime when he announces at a
press conference that he is gay. Both funny and hard-hitting, Take
Me Out explores the ripple effect this has on his teammates, the
media, and his adoring fans.

3. SOCIAL #2 - Pageant: The Musical! at Off Tryon Theatre on Friday
10/8

Pageant: The Musical! is playing at The Off-Tryon Theatre. A group
of us are going to the Friday night show. Tickets are $20. The
tickets are general admission so you can buy your ticket
individually and still sit with the group. Just let me know if you
are going so we can save the right number of seats. We will

The Off-Tryon Theatre Company presents our first-ever musical
extravaganza beginning September 16, 2004 with Pageant: The Musical!

Don't forget our weekly runs:

Monday night at 6:30 PM, Dowd YMCA back porch, dinner afterward.

Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, Liaisons parking lot, breakfast
afterward at Einstein Bros. Bagels on South Blvd.

Also, if you are interested in a Thursday night run, remember the
Bloody Mary Running Club, which meets at Aprille Shaffer's house in
