1.  NEW SATURDAY LOCATION – Brueggers Bagels on East Blvd.

 

We have moved our Saturday runs to Brueggers so spread the word. 

 

Park in the Caribou Coffee/Brueggers Bagels parking lot (1531 East Blvd). Breakfast afterwards at Brueggers.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD SO EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE CHANGE

You can join us for breakfast around 10:00 even if you don't run.

 

 

2.  Twilight 5k –Thursday 5/12

 

This race will be an official Front Runners race.  It is a 5k that runs downtown on Thursday night May 12th at 7:00 PM.  You can register at any of the Run For Your Life stores.  For more info or to register on line, go to http://www.rightmovesforyouth.org/5K05/frameset.htm

 

We will meet prior to the race (6:30) at the corner of Tryon and 3rd St.  Don’t forget to wear your Front Runners shirt!

 

 

3.  Charlotte Pride Volunteers Needed for Front Runner Booth

 

The Front Runners will host a booth at Charlotte Pride again this year on Saturday 5/7.  We will need volunteers to pass out info about our club and talk to interested runners and walkers.   The booth will be open from 11 am until 6 pm.  We will have 4 shifts:

 

10:30- 12:30 (including set up)

12:30 – 2:30

2:30 – 4:30

4:30 – 6:30 (including teardown)

 

Please let me know if you can volunteer for one (or more!) of the shifts.

 

 

4.  Group run reminder

Don't forget our weekly runs:

Monday night at 6:30 PM, Dowd YMCA back porch, dinner afterward.

 

Saturday morning at 9:00 AM, Caribou Coffee/Brueggers Bagels parking lot, breakfast afterward at BRUEGGERS BAGELS.
