Team,

We need more players for the Asheville tournament - Sat., July 25th. Please
respond via email if you plan on going (for those that already have responded,
thank you!). We are currently at 11 players committed with some more on the
fence. This is a great tournament so please make the effort. For those that
have been in the past, please speak up and talk about the experience.

Additionally, team meeting Wed., July 22nd at the Lacrosse Store, 7:30 pm. We
need to discuss the future of the lacrosse club. I need help and we need
officers to get involved (treasurer, field coordinator, social chairman, vice
president/secretary, someone is more than welcome to become president and take
my current position). I am not having fun doing all of this on my own. I have
asked in the past and some have stepped up for short periods of time. A few
have stuck around and helped when they can. To do it right, we need the
positions filled. The club needs money and we desperately need a full time
treasurer to set dues and collect funds. I hate to be harsh but failure to get
a good turnout and get the positions filled will result in me stepping down from
doing anything in the future. The choice is up to the lax players in the area
(get involved please!).
