Run BTE (Better Than Ever) St. Bernard

The 26th   CHALMETTE  TRACK  CLUB                        10 MILE and 2 mile ROAD
RACE
       SUNDAY,  December 13, 2009 AT 8:00 A.M.   Sharp

         LOCATION:    Start, finish, and party are at  Torres Park on the Jean
Lafitte Parkway side.

          DIRECTIONS:   Torres Park is behind the Government Complex (8201 West
Judge Perez Drive) bounded by

                             Jean Lafitte Pkwy, Patricia Drive and Dr Meraux
Blvd.

COURSE:    The 10 mile course will tour Arabi and Chalmette and pass nine
historical sites.

AWARDS:    10 MILE Plaques will be awarded to 1st overall, 1st Masters (40+) ,
and to the 1st Grandmaster                           (50+) male and female  
Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd  in each of the following age
groups:   Men:  19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54,
55-59, 60-64, 65-69,                        70+. Women:  19 & under, 20-24,
25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-59, 60+.
2 mile Trophies will be awarded to the 1st overall male and female and to the
1st place finisher  in each   of the following   age groups, male and female: 
12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40- 49, 50+

LAGNIAPPE:  All registered runners will receive a new BTE T-Shirt.

PARTY:   Join us in the park for refreshments, including beer for adults, soft
drinks, fruit , LUNCH  and
                   music by Mason Punch.

          ENTRY FEE:   $20 pre-registered ($10 for15 and under) on or before
December 6, 2009 ;  $15  CTC members
                                    $25 December 7 to December 13 for all.

and assigns, knowingly and willingly waive any and all rights and claims for
damages I may have against the persons of entities connected with this event,
including the Chalmette Track Club, Inc.  And I release and hold them harmless
for any and all injuries sustained in connection with this event.  I hereby
grant full permission to use my name and image in any photographs, videotapes,
motion pictures, recordings, broadcasts, or other record of t his event.  I
further attest that I have read this waiver and intend to have a good time at
this event.
