This Sunday Oct.26th was to be my run to celebrate my 27th year of not
missing a day of running. That streak was forced to be broken March
18th when a stress test revealed I had a "problem" with my heart that
could lead to Sudden Death (that's the way I want to go anyway...just
not right now!<G>). I reluctantly gave in and broke my streak and
missed my first Crescent City Classic ever in 30 years which was a real
bummer too. I hope all my old running buddies that got me through all
those years can make it and we'll chat about the "old days" as we jog
on the Mississippi levee at Liz and Fred's house and then pig out on
great food and drinks afterwards.

starting at 9AM Sunday, October 26, 2008. Email Liz what you can bring
to eat or drink. CTC will provide the beer. This is as always a good
time for all.
