BASTILLE DAY meets Pelicanman 2 MILE RACE

Sunday, July 13, 2008 at 8:15 a.m.

COURSE: The course is entirely within Val Riess Park in Chalmette .

LOCATION: Race start is located at the west side gate of the park.
From Judge Perez Drive turn on Plaza Drive on the Pellegrini Barber
shop side. The main gate is one mile. Since the park is destroyed,
there is much parking. Walk to the west side gate. If adventurous,
park at the west side entrance.

Road Race: The 2 mile run will start at 8:30 a.m. (Don't believe that
8:15 stuff)

AWARDS: All winners (or at least most) will receive Pelicanman
Trophies. Finishers are considered winners, and this is the easiest
way to get a Pelicanman Trophy.

REFRESHMENTS: Wine, beer, cheese, beer, soft drinks, beer and french
bread will be included in the post race party.

AMENITIES: A CTC party.

ENTRY FEE: $10 pre-registered runners on Saturday, July 13, 2008
8:30a.m. $ 6 14 years old and under

Bastille Day Race July 13, 2008

In consideration of the acceptance of this application form, I the
undersigned intending to be legally bound, do hereby for myself, my
heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, knowingly and
willingly waive any and all rights and claims for damages I may have
against the Chalmette Track Club, Inc., and the St. Bernard Parish
Government, and I release and hold them harmless for any and all
injuries sustained in connection with this event. I hereby grant full
permission to use my name and image in any photographs, videotapes,
motion pictures, recordings, broadcasts, or other record of this
event. I further attest that I have read this waiver and intend to
have a good time at this event.
