Buster and CTC,
We had 24 runners from Catch 22 run in the NYC Marathon representing the
City of New Orleans. Of those runners, Heidi Melia and myself are members
of the CTC. We ran as a group rather than individuals w/ "New Orleans -
Proud to Call it Home" on our singlets.
Most of the group finished together in a time of around 3:53 with a few
others coming in a little later. This was one of the most incredible races
that most of us have ever run. We worked the crowd the entire time by
jumping and waving our arms up in the air. It felt like a 26.2 mile Mardi
Gras parade. We were greated by chants of "we love new orleans" the entire
way.
Since the New York Road Runners Club gave us special late admission into the
race, they filled up our schedule w/ lots of media events. Our group had
its own press conference on Thursday at Tavern on the Green. After that we
made appearance on the CBS Early Morning Show, the Today Show, and had a
feature about us shown on the 5 hour NBC race coverage that was shown in the
NY area. We also had some coverage on CNN. See the links below.
Here are some direct links to the two CNN videos...

I think they had around 30 runners that mostly finished together
with "Proud to call New Orleans home" on their shirts. The clock had
3:55 on it as they crossed the line. Lilly and Wingate were interviewed
on the piece I saw and said they were doing their part to bring N.O.
back.
