Welcome!

We are Central Georgia Cyclists ~ an informal group of bicycle enthusiasts, from recreational riders to seasoned racers throughout the Central Georgia area.

Our goal is to promote fun, fitness and recreation where everybody can come and enjoy the cycling experience no matter their level of fitness or previous experience.

Mountain Bike Group Rides ---
Mon @ 6:00PM, LH Thomson Trail
Wed @ 6:00PM, LH Thomson Trail

Weekday Road Bike Group Rides
Mon @ 6pm Perry Welcome Center (casual ride w/ varying paces)
Tues. @ 6pm from W.R. The Bike Store parking lot. A-B-C paces with distances varying according to route choice. 23-44 mile options.
Wed. @ 6pm from Bike Store parking lot. W.R. and Macon rides, casual pace.
Thur. @ 6pm from Houston Lake Baptist Church parking lot. A-B-C paces with distances varying according to route choice. 24-44 mile options.
No Friday rides.

Weekend Road Bike Group Rides
Sat @ 9am Perry Welcome Center (metric century or better)
1st Sat. of each month is "Rolling to Roberta" @ 9am Bike Store in W.R.
Sun @ 9 am from The Bike Store ~ distance varies

Paces:
A- training pace with group AVERAGE exceeding 20+ mph for 40+ miles
B- moderate pace with group AVERAGE between 16-19 mph for 30-40 miles
C- "casual" and newbie friendly with group average anywhere from 10-15 mph for varying distances.
Paces will vary according to terrain, group make-up, and route choice. If you feel you can hang but may pop if the pace gets too high and you don't know the route, please let someone know before you detonate.
