I spoke with the nice gal at the Central Motel in Inverness today on
the phone and made a room reservation. At noon today (Friday) she had
33 available rooms, but cautioned that they WOULD FILL for the
Memorial Day weekend, so if you want to stay and ride two days, make
your reservation now.

Number at the Central Motel is 1-800-554-7241 and rooms start at
$45.00. All the King rooms are gone already, but there are plenty of
rooms with two queens.

Central Motel website is: http://www.centralmotel.com/index.html.

Ride still starts at 10am, and we'll ride one direction on one day and
the opposite direction the next. Meeting place for the ride is
parking lot of the Central Motel. Hope to see some of you there!

David, I think there is a plan to ride the Pinellas Trail in that time frame.........Ed is coming up from SFRR to stay in Dunedin that week and we will be riding with him. We'll post the dates when firmed up. Paul J.

Just thought I would ask, is there any thing special going on in the
Inverness area over Memorial Day weekend.  My wife and I are driving

Hey. Last night I made an interesting discovery. I've been having a death grip on my handlebars. I was riding along and I started to hear some creaking again. I was pissed. At the end of the ride for some reason I let up on the habndlebars. No creaking. No creaking on tonight's ride. I concentrated on gently holding the grips. Voila! My thinking is the picture taking has caused the gripping problem. I probably was overcompensating with my grip hand when taking photos.

It was my first long and organized ride and I had a blast. Can't wait
to do another ride like that again.

I met a few bent riders, and saw others along the way. Not sure if
anybody here. I am terrible with names, but will remember faces well.

My wife was taking pictures, and She's got a few of bents so if you are
interested I can check and send you your picture.
