Heinsohn brought up many times during the Washington game that the Celts were indeed not running out after the rebound. The holes in the defense missing assignments, switching etc., are way too numerous. Heinsohn also mentioned those. Defense is the hardest part of the game and we haven't learned or progressed much. We're 4th in the League in offense but near last in defense at 28 out of 30 teams. When we score 100+ we win won only 8 games. Phoenix has won 22. There are only 8 teams averaging 100+. If we could tighten up we could compete at a much higher level. Doc realizes this but isn't being heard or the message is falling on deaf ears. All I know is I watch all games and we do make the other teams look better.
