The question has come up about the weight certification date. The
question is when is it official date of certification?
Rule 1.3.2 For health and safety reasons the state's weight-control
program shall:
a. require each wrestler to establish a certified minimum weight
sometime prior to January 15 and prohibit recertification at a lower
weight during the season. After certification, a wrestler may not
weigh-in more than one weight class above the weight of
certification without recertifying at a higher weight. and;
b. each wrestler is required to have at least one-half of his
weigh-ins during the season at the minimum weight he will wrestle
during the state tournament series.
WVSSAC has requested that weight certification sheets be in their
office by later than December 23.
On the weight certification sheet, there is a date signature sheet
for the doctor.
So what are everyones thoughts on when the official date of
certification. (After certification, a wrestler may not weigh-in
more than one weight class above the weight of certification without
recertifying at a higher weight.)
A) date of doctor's signature
B) December 23 (WVSSAC requested date)
C) January 15 (rule book)
I have created a poll where everyone can vote on this.
Feel free to comment.
Thanks

I have added two new files to the database section. These file are
listings of Jr. State Champions thta was compiled by Pat Peters.
Database files will only hold up to 1000 records, so that is why I
had to create two files. The first files is champions with last
name starting from A to L. The second file is M to Z.
Enjoy
