Van Buren, MO - The 2007 Berryman Adventure, presented by Columbia
Sportswear, will boast the biggest turnout in the race's 7 year history.
Teams from 23 states will be taking on this grueling course in the Ozark
Mountains of Southern Missouri on September 29th.

The Berryman Adventure has over 260 adventure racers in all coming to
participate in the Midwest's Premier Adventure Race. There are 61 2-Person
teams competing in the 12-Hour course and almost 140 racers competing in the
36-Hour course, consisting of 4 Person and 2 Person teams.

Some of the top adventure racing teams in the nation are coming to take on
the 36-Hour course, a 120+ mile journey in rugged, steep terrain. All
Berryman Adventure racers will enjoy racing in deep backwoods forests and
will be on miles of great singletrack! They will paddle some of the best
rivers in the country, which are nationally protected. Racers will also be
rewarded with beautiful, scenic views of deep valleys and spring-fed rivers
from the tops of huge bluffs in the heart of the Ozark Mountains.

Race Headquarters is located at Big Spring Park in Van Buren, Missouri, home
of the largest spring in the United States, and one of the largest in the
world.

The Berryman Adventure is a part of the Checkpoint Tracker National Points
Series, and will be utilizing Checkpoint Tracker as an online leaderboard
tool for the race. To watch all the action unfold this weekend, please

will make sure that they see it while they're racing!

real ass kicker. The first place 4-Person Co-ed team in the 36-Hour course
will receive a certificate for 50% off their entry into the 2008 Mighty MO
