BIG BLUE ADVENTURE SERIES ANNOUNCES 2005 RACE DIRECTORS

(King's Beach, Calif.)- Seventh Wave Productions, owners of the Big Blue Adventure Series, has selected CoreSports, LLC to direct the 2005 series’ Sprint and 24-hour events.

CoreSports’ Nick Moore and Jonathan Denison have been in the thick of the adventure racing world since 1998 and are responsible for the execution of more than 100 events throughout North America.  Moore and Denison will be working specifically on the Silver Sage, Red Tail, Ocean Blue and Tahoe Big Blue sprint races, as well as the Big Blue 24 hour Santa Monica, Santa Barbara and Lake Tahoe competitions and aim to take the series to the highest level of the sport.

“We are extremely excited about working with Seventh Wave Productions and look forward to providing participants of all levels with a truly once in a lifetime experience,” Denison said.

“Nick and Jonathan are true leaders in adventure racing and I’m pleased that they’ll be playing such an integral role in these new events,” Todd Jackson, president of Seventh Wave Productions and series producer, said. “I’m confident that our partnership will ensure a successful series.”

The 2005 Big Blue Adventure Series consists of 11 adventure races throughout California and into Nevada. From the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area to the high-altitude of Lake Tahoe and Reno, the Big Blue Adventure Series will provide an opportunity for both novices and seasoned professionals to experience an epic adventure in the beautiful and rugged landscapes.
