Endurance Mountain Biking Returns to Durango for the 2nd Annual 100-Mile Mountain Bike Race
Registration for the 2nd Annual Durango 100-mile Mountain Bike Race on Saturday, July 17th is over 70% full. Durango, Colorado, a world-class mountain bike venue will be welcoming nearly 200 mountain bike racers, ranging from elite racers to first-time challengers.
Competitors in the Durango MTB 100 will test their skills on a challenging 100-mile, 100K or 50K course with elevation gains of over 17,000 feet throughout the entire course. The course starts and finishes at Durango Mountain Resort. The addition of the 100K & 50K race categories gives racers a full spectrum of competition options.
Nestled into the heart of the San Juan Mountains, Durango is home to some of the world’s finest mountain biking and provides training ground to numerous world class athletes. Along with its natural beauty, this venue offers the world’s highest altitude 100-mile mountain bike course. Racers will be clearing elevations of 11,500 feet during the event.
