Hello Everyone!

I wanted to take a few minutes to post some info about the upcoming
season...

- UNCC has joined and will most likely have two teams.  I'm also
waiting on final confirmation from Tech, UVA, and Radford.  Our goal
is SIXTEEN TEAMS this year.

- The "Executive Committe" consists of me, Alicia (UNCW) and Laura
(ASU).

- DUES are $250 per team.  I have set up a CWCVL account.  Alicia
and Laura will receive statements and stay in the money loop.

- The first play date is November 11th.  The "western region" will
play at ASU, and the "eastern region" will play at either UNCW or
ECU.  Ideally, each region will have 8 teams.  This will limit
travel and get you out of the gym at a reasonable time.

- The second play date is February 10th.  The goal is to have TWO
sites near the Raleigh area.  Duke and NCSU would be great with a
fall back plan of UNCG and/or Elon.

- The third play date is April 7th which is the week before
Nationals.  The goal here is to have everyone at one site (four
courts) which would be UNC.  Winning teams will be given money on
the spot to use for Nationals.

- We are flexible on the 2nd and 3rd dates if needed.

- We would also like to get as many of our member clubs to
participate in your local events.

- If you need to raise money, please consider hosting junior
events.  If you can use two courts, you have the potential to earn
$650 on MOST Saturdays from January through March.  They are very
easy to run.  Please contact me if you're interested.  In theory,
you could host every Saturday depending on your location and court
availability.

- If you respond to this message, it SHOULD only go to me.  If you
need to post to the entire group, just post a new message.

- PLEASE give me final information for each club as soon as
possible.
