Hope everyone's winter breaks are going well. We
will be hosting our home tournament on Saturday February 21st. We are
looking for 16-20 teams with fees being $150 for the first team and
$125 for a second team. Also, when you reply if you need hotel rooms
for your team please let us know how many because we MIGHT be able to
block off rooms and get a discount (more info on that as we get a list
of teams together). The winner will take home their entry fee. Please
let us know! Thank you and good luck with the spring season!!
Hi everybody-

will be a great way for all of our CWCVL teams to get some practice
before our big league tournament on Feb. 7th.
Please email uncwomensclubvolleyball@... to reserve a spot if you
are interested. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

State will be holding a spring invitational tournament in Boone on

possible. The Rec Center at App has allowed us 7 courts so we're
looking for upwards of 35 teams! Let me know if you're interested!

teams! First team will be $150 and any additional teams will be $100.
We will also be having tournament tshirts for sale and will be taking

team interested in skiing, snowboarding on Sunday a great discount
for their teams!

wanting to play at our tourney, please let me know asap. We had a few
schools add this past week. The entry fee for the first team is $150

Good Morning,
I'd like to welcome WCU to our little family. Thank you!
For those of you that didn't catch ESPNU last night, here ya go:
EAST:
1. UNCW1
2. NCSU
3. UNC1 / UNC2
WEST:
1. JMU1
2. VT1
3. VT2 / ASU2
Special thanx go to ASU and UNCG for providing great support!!!
PLEASE contact me if you have ANY questions, comments or concerns.
The only "negative" I have deals with time. While it wasn't too bad
yesterday, we lose a TON of time between matches. For example, if
you waste five minutes between the last match and the coin toss
you'll actually add nearly an hour of dead time over a 10 match
schedule. Maybe I noticed it more because I had a five hour
drive!!! :-)
The plan right now is to have the February tournament on the 7th.
PLEASE contact me ASAP if you cannot play that day. We will play at
NCSU, UNC or Greensboro.
For those of you that are new, we only use one referee in November
and one in March. Three years ago the league voted for this since
we spent between $1,200 and $1,800 per year on officials. The
decision was made to save that money for the teams going to
Nationals. Last year the top four National teams received $1,800,
$900, $500, and $300 for their trips to Dallas.
I will be sending out more info later. PLEASE MAKE sure you send me
results from the other tournament you attend!!!!
