Good Morning,

As you know, there are several tournments popping up for the fall.
And even though we don't have any "duplicate" days, it will be hard
for team to attend some of the events and still focus on the League
tournament on November 4th.

Based on this, and the increased size of our league, I'd like to
request your proposed hosting dates for the spring. I think it
would be much easier and attract more teams if we could have at
least a two-week break between events. We could even try for
an "east" and "west" event on the same day to make traveling
easier. So, please send me your proposed dates, but keep in mind
our two league tournaments will be on February 10th and March 31st.

OFFICIATING: There is no requirement to have officials at your own
events. However, if you'd like some, please let me know. The cost
per official per day would be around $150, and you would need one
per court.

COURTS: Four teams per court is the BEST way to do it, but five
would work also. It's ALWAYS better to have an even number of teams
on each court, but there are options. Just let me know if you have
any questions.

RULES: The libero will be allowed to serve this year. She is only
allowed to serve in the same position of the rotation. Again, let
me know if you have any questions.

SCOREKEEPING: The EASY to use scorekeeping class in listed in the
files section of the GROUP website. The days go such much better
when everyone knows how to keep score.

HOSTING: To ensure a smooth event, it's very important to have a
phone number for each participating team. Please call each team the
day before the event. That will give you plenty of time to adjust
the schedule. And to help, PLEASE go to the database section and
list your cell number.
