St barth kiting = I've been there twice. Once in Feb and another in April for 15 days each. Both times the wind was light and had to rig a 15 or 17 m and not every day. I remember only a few days that had good fun and it's the moment when the place becomes really crowded. The only good place to do it is in the lagoon of the (expensive) Guanahani hotel. All the people do it there so u have help to launch and also if u have a problem. A humble suggestion: don't to go to St Barth if u want to have good kite...at least that, has been my experience.

I would highly recommend the Cuisinart Resort or Cap Jaluca in Anguilla. These are 2 of the most beautiful resorts and beaches in the world. S - NE wind will work for kiting. Your girlfriend will be EXTRA appreciative when she sees the place

The quoted rates are high but I'll bet if you call you can negotiate a WAY better rate since travel there is way off

Pete

Pete M knows some things about Anguilla and I have a friend that has kited St barts.. (I hear both are pricey but very kiteable) I will ask for more info for you.
PS- We really should have a file on this site of "Wife and Girlfriend-able Kite destinations! ! Real BVI would be one for sure!

Hey John or anyone else I am looking for a nice place to stay and
kite (not outragously priced) in either St Barts, Anguilla or St
Martin. $400-$700/night( around a four star). Between Feb 15-Feb 23.
My girl friend will be with so I can't rough this one. Any
suggestions. ---- Don
