So gusty that Rob told me not to go, after I had
already paid for the tickets, but Amanda and I still
liked Playa Copal, Costa Rica.

Cheap and Windy, but super gusty, it is NOT A PLACE
FOR BEGINNERS. Hammering down into the bay from
Nicaragua are 5-10 second sustained gusts adding
15-20mph zingers to an already ripping side-on. With
7, 9 & 12M bows we rode all day for seven days! Also
NOTHING else to do there, just kite, drink at the only
bar/restaurant & sleep.
