I took the items we discussed to the club reps meeting tonight,
Glenn and myself in attendance.

I announced our discissions so far. I've requested El Toro, I've
asked for the fourth of July weekend and I've told them the plan is
for each day of the event to count as a regional championship series
event.

Brian is going to ask for Fri, Sat and Sunday at El Toro. I've had
some ideas for filling Friday a little more I'll bring up in another
thread.

Brian also passed on Guy Ankeny's excitement of trying to get a
Divisional going in our area. Since we're still short a member on
this committee, I think Guy would be an excellent choice to fill the
spot. He's very experianced, an semi-outside the region view and
has a good relationship with SCCA and other industry contacts.

Next items up, we'll should start assigning chiefs. I'm aiming to
get this done early so we can use the chiefs as a consulting group,
especially Timing and Scoring, worker chief, course, etc. I'd also
like to start thinking about HOW we're going to score this event,
especially how to mesh it with the regional championship points
scheme.
